The Tarpon Club Marina
Currently under development is the planned Tarpon Club Marina, to be located nearby on the Isles of Capri, overlooking scenic backwater bays. Providing a gathering place for boaters and landlubbers alike, facilities and services available at the planned marina will include:
- Casual/fine dining restaurant overlooking Johnson Bay
- Marina with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico
- Wet slip* and dry boat storage facilities
- Fueling facility
- Ship's store
Construction has already begun on the dry boat storage facility. The new facility is designed to accommodate up to 150 boats, the largest being 35 feet in length. There will also be additional storage outside the building bringing the total capacity to approximately 180. The dry boat storage facility is scheduled for completion fall 2008.
